Greenough Communications Adds Scott Bauman as Vice President
Boston, MA February 14, 2006 Greenough Communications, a top independent public relations firm based in Boston, announced Scott Bauman has joined Greenough’s leadership team. As a vice president at Greenough, Bauman will lead the development of innovative campaigns for Greenough’s clients, manage key talent and help develop business for the agency.

Bauman brings with him more than thirteen years of experience in public relations and marketing, as well as expertise in key markets such as technology and e-commerce, professional services, life sciences, and consumer electronics. With corporate experience as director of public relations and internal communications at Avid Technology, Bauman helped design the marketing strategy to introduce the company’s next-generation of products and reinvigorate its corporate brand. In addition, Bauman led public relations programs for national public relations agencies during which time he won both Silver Anvil and Bulldog awards for media exposure and measurable business impact.
Scott began his public relations career as director of public relations and spokesperson for the state of Maine where he made frequent media appearances, both television and print. Scott earned his bachelor’s degree from Hobart College and master’s in public policy/affairs from the University of Maine’s Muskie School.
