GREENOUGH PARTNERS WITH BABSON COLLEGE TO PROMOTE FOURTH ANNUAL ENTREPRENEURIAL ENERGY EXPO (E3)

BOSTON (March 23, 2009) Greenough Communications, a leading independent public relations firm with offices in Boston and Silicon Valley, announced today a partnership with the Babson Energy and Environment Club to promote the fourth annual Entrepreneurial Energy Expo (E3). The conference, to be held on Thursday, March 26 at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, will focus on how innovation is driving a new era of energy, economics and policy.

“Given Greenough’s experience in cleantech and the agency’s success with the MIT Energy Conference, we knew they were the right team to help us build awareness of this year’s Expo,” said Chelsea Havill, vice president of marketing, Babson Energy and Environmental Club. “Greenough is getting us in front of the right audiences and, in just a short time, they’ve already driven up registrations for the event.”

E32009 will bring regional cleantech professionals and students together over a full day of dynamic discussion panels, speaker events and networking opportunities. The conference boasts a distinguished lineup of speakers and panelists including Nicholas Parker, chairman of the Cleantech Group; Peter Fusaro, chairman of Global Change Associates; and Phil Giudice, commissioner for the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources Solutions.

Said Phil Greenough, founder and president of Greenough Communications, “E3 is important to the New England community as it offers a forum for the industry’s most prominent leaders to talk about how environmental policy, energy efficiency and green IT can contribute to local entrepreneurship, and we’re delighted to lend our marketing and industry expertise to this terrific conference.”

The Babson Energy and Environmental Club (BEEC) is a student led organization at the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. The BEEC’s mission is to foster innovation in the areas of curriculum integration, career development and campus sustainability and plays an instrumental role in Babson’s rise to leadership in social and environmental entrepreneurship.
