Greenough Communications Adds Austhink to Client Roster
Menlo Park, CA, July 15, 2008 Greenough Communications, a leading independent public relations firm headquartered in Boston and Silicon Valley, today announced the addition of Austhink, a leading provider in critical thinking solutions, to its client list. Greenough is helping Austhink break into the US market with the launch of bCisive, a software solution that uses graphical techniques to facilitate business decision making.
“We were faced with the challenge of breaking into the US market and also needed an agency that could serve as a core part of our marketing team and help us target the right audiences with our new product, bCisive,” said Tim van Gelder, Austhink CEO. “Greenough’s knowledge of the US media and influencer landscape, as well as the firm’s track record of creativity and success in leading companies through launches, has given us the support and strategic insight we need to make a name for ourselves and drive momentum.”
Austhink is headquartered in Melbourne, Australia and is now bringing its innovative approach to business decision making to the US. Bolstered by Tim Van Gelder’s experience as a cognitive scientist, the company is eliminating the pains and inefficiencies involved with making tough decisions and reaching consensus.
“Austhink has recognized a significant pain point for decision makers in any industry the need to make better, more thoughtful decisions faster,” said Stephanie Casey, Greenough EVP and managing director of West Coast operations. “What’s unique is how they’ve developed the solution based on Tim Van Gelder’s years of academic study in cognitive science and critical thinking. The company’s leadership and proven software position them well for a fast start and we are eager to bring Austhink’s story to a new audience and introduce the benefits of their new, decision making software to the US.”
